What is Concrete & Imprinted Concrete Cleaning in Bournemouth?

If you've got imprinted or pattern concrete, the worry is always the same. Will the pressure strip the colour out or damage the seal? It's a fair concern. Cleaning patterned concrete with too much pressure can lift the colour hardener and spoil the finish, so we don't do it that way. On a delicate or coloured surface we soft wash it instead, which lifts the green and dirt away without driving into the colour or the seal. That decision is made before we even arrive, from the photos and rough m² you send us.
Plain concrete is tougher, so it usually takes the rotary cleaner for an even finish with no stripes. Either way, we match the method to your surface rather than treating everything the same. If a surface looks like the pressure could damage it, we'll soft wash it or tell you straight rather than take the risk.
To be honest about what we do and don't offer yet, right now we clean concrete, we don't reseal or recolour it. Resealing and recolouring imprinted concrete is something we're hoping to add soon, but we won't claim it until we genuinely do it. A clean on its own still makes a real difference, and plenty of people are happy with just that.

Not the way we do it. Too much pressure can lift the colour hardener and damage the seal on imprinted or pattern concrete, so we don't clean it that way. We soft wash it instead, which lifts the green and dirt away without driving into the colour or the seal. We decide that from your photos before we get to the job. If a surface looks like the pressure could damage it, we'll soft wash it or tell you straight rather than take the risk.
Can you make old, dull concrete look new again?
Usually, yes. A proper clean lifts the dirt, green and a lot of the staining away, and the concrete comes back looking far closer to new than most people expect. We take real care over the stubborn stains and stay on them until they lift. Send us a photo and we'll tell you honestly how much of it will come back.
Do you reseal or recolour imprinted concrete as well?
Not yet, to be honest. Right now we clean concrete, we don't reseal or recolour it. Resealing and recolouring imprinted concrete is something we're hoping to add soon, but we won't claim it until we genuinely do it. A clean on its own still makes a real difference, and plenty of people are happy with just that.
How much does concrete cleaning cost?
We charge per m². Cleaning is £3.50/m², an optional seal on plain concrete is £3/m², and re-sanding any joints is £2/m². Every concrete job is a little different, so send us a photo and your rough size and we'll give you the exact price before we come out. You only pay once it's done.
Will the green come back after cleaning?
It won't be back in a month. We treat the surface after the clean rather than just cleaning it, which keeps the green and weeds away for a lot longer. That comes with a weed-free guarantee of 6 to 12 months. Algae does return eventually, but not quickly when it's done properly.
