Poole is right on my doorstep, so it's one of the areas I work most. I cover the town and the districts around it day to day, from Parkstone and Lower Parkstone to Penn Hill, Canford Cliffs, Canford Heath, Hamworthy, Broadstone, Branksome and the Old Town near the harbour. I'm based just up the road in Kinson, so getting to you in Poole is no trouble.
Poole throws up a real mix of surfaces, and that's the bit that matters. You've got the older render and natural stone places near the harbour, the period drives and Indian sandstone patios up around Canford Cliffs and Penn Hill, and the newer block-paved drives out at Canford Heath and Broadstone. Each one wants a different method. Some take a rotary clean, some need a soft wash so nothing gets damaged. I decide that from your photos before I turn up, not on the day.
Roof cleaning is a big one in Poole. A lot of roofs round here go green and mossy, and that's the job people most want sorting. I clear the moss and growth with a careful soft wash rather than blasting the tiles, because the tiles and the bedding can be damaged if you hit them too hard. Roof cleaning is something I'm rolling out, so for roofs it's best to enquire and I'll talk you through it.
For drives and patios my rates are straight per m². Cleaning is £3.50 a metre, re-sanding the joints on block paving is £2 a metre, and an optional seal is £3 a metre. No vague from-prices. Send me a photo and your rough m² and I'll work out the exact price before I come out, and you only pay once the job's done.
One I did recently was a decking job in Parkstone for Andy. It had gone tired and grey, and once it was cleaned and treated it came back like freshly laid decking. He was buzzing with it. Will the pressure damage my Indian sandstone or render?
Not the way I do it. Plenty of properties round Poole have delicate natural stone, render or resin, and those don't want a heavy blast. I match the pressure to the surface and soft wash anything that needs it. I make that call from your photos before I get to the job. If I think a surface can't take it, I'll soft wash it or tell you straight rather than risk it.

For moss on roofs and render it tends to build back up over the wetter months, so a clean once it's drier holds better for longer. Either way it comes with a weed-free guarantee of 6 to 12 months.
