I cover Wimborne and the villages around it. That's the Minster town centre and out to Colehill, Pamphill, Merley, Stapehill and Leigh. I'm based just down the road in Kinson, so it's a short hop over to your bit of Wimborne, BH21 included.
Wimborne brings me a different sort of work to the newer estates nearer the coast. There are a lot of older period and character properties round here, with natural stone, render and the odd tired bit of block paving that's been down a good while. That stock changes how I clean it. Stone and render don't want a heavy blast, so they get a soft wash instead. I weigh that up from your photos before I turn up, not on the day. The drives out toward Pamphill and Leigh tend to be longer and more rural too, so I plan the water and access for that.
On a driveway, cleaning is only half the job. Plenty of people will blast it and leave. I don't work like that. I get rid of the muck properly, then re-sand the joints with kiln-dried sand so the blocks lock back together. If you want the colour brought up and the finish protected I can seal it after, but a lot of drives are perfectly happy with a clean and a re-sand, so I won't push it on you.
My rates are straight per m². Cleaning is £3.50 a metre, re-sanding the joints on block paving is £2 a metre, and an optional seal is £3 a metre. No vague from-prices. Send me a photo and your rough m² and I'll work out the exact price before I come out, and you only pay once the job's done. Every clean comes with a weed-free guarantee for 6 to 12 months. Weeds always come back eventually, so I make sure it stays clear for as long as I can.

Is power washing a driveway worth it?
If your drive has gone green, tired or stained, then yes. It's one of the first things people see when they pull up. Done right, with the joints re-sanded after, it stays looking good rather than going straight back to how it was. A blast on its own won't hold, which is why I re-sand and treat it.
Is pressure washing a driveway legal in the UK?
Yes, it's perfectly legal to clean your own driveway. The thing to be careful with is where the dirty water and muck run off to. I weigh up the drainage before I start so we don't end up with puddles everywhere or run-off going where it shouldn't, and I gather the muck and bag it up to dispose of properly.
Will the pressure damage my natural stone or render?
Not the way I do it. Wimborne has a lot of older stone and rendered properties, and those don't want a heavy blast. I match the pressure to the surface and soft wash anything delicate, and I make that call from your photos before I get to the job. If I think a surface can't take it, I'll soft wash it or tell you straight rather than risk it.
Will the weeds come back after cleaning?
Weeds always come back eventually, to be honest. But I treat the surface after the clean and re-sand the joints on block paving, which keeps them out for a lot longer. That comes with a weed-free guarantee of 6 to 12 months.
